Something must've come over me... I had the urge to draw a lady in clothes rather than out of them!

Anyway, wanted to play with Calpurnia's design a bit while hopefully getting it finalized. Lots of mistakes, but it was surprisingly fun to do a mixed-media piece like this.... especially considering that I felt that it was going in a very bad direction for the first half or so.

Also, peach tea with boba is her favorite drink.

Paper, markers, inks, other stuff, and whites details please!

Oh, I was just trying out my Bee Paper multimedia sketchbook. Great stuff, definitely recommend. I used Prismacolor markers for the girl and the skirt, as well as the boba in the cup. I used micron pens for the lineart, and then some cheapo cake watercolors (I think they were crayola brand, lol) for the rest. And a tiny bit of acrylic paint for the highlights and the gold bits!

I've seen Bee, I normally use Blick Mixed Media because I work wet as heck with dip pens.

Oh that's something I've always wanted to try! Or rather, i tried once when I was still very much an amateur and didn't get very much out of it, lol.

Very beautiful! Jean skirts and sweaters are such an elegant way to dress, and silk stockings. Has a very 90's feel to it!

Calpurnia is such a cutie! Squirrel girls are adorable, and her long hair makes her extra cute!

Mmm, I haven't had boba tea in a while. Oolong and lychee is usually my favourite. She's a lady of superb taste! ❤️
