Ingredients GOOD red wine ---- 1 spoonful coconut sugar 1 teaspoon stevia ---- 3 slices apple, skin-on orange zest ---- lemon zest 1 cinnamon stick ---- 2 cloves 1 star anise ---- 1 pinch nutmeg Preparation 1. Pour the wine into a saucepan, add the coconut sugar and stevia, and mix well. 2. Add the apple slices, citrus zest and spices (except for the nutmeg) to the wine. 3. Bring the wine to a light boil. This way, the alcoholic part will evaporate and the wine will take on a slight body. 4. Turn off the heat and add the nutmeg. 5. Filter the wine and serve it in thermal glasses, or let the wine rest and allow it to continue absorbing the flavors of the spices.
If you plan to serve it later, heat it back up well but do not boil it again.

i should have stated that. like in almost all recipes, variants are fundamental and cover our preferences according to our tastes.
but here i can agree, there are maybe better sweetener than coconut sugar and stevia. YUMMY chestnut honey, for example, can give another flavour, try it if available in your part of the world...
