On the surface, Cassidy Kent, the daughter of Kevin and Kelly Kent, looks like a normal chihuahua girl attending St. Lassie's Private Girl Dogs' School, but underneath her school uniform is the blue tantop, red skirt, and pink cape of Super Mammoth Mutt. As her parents are Mammoth Mutt and Star Dog (son of Krypto and Brainy Barker), Super Mammoth Mutt has her father's flight, super strength, invulnerability, and super breath, as well as her mother's power of inflation.

However, she also inherits her father's weakness of kryptonite, as well as a second weakness where if she eats anything too spicy, she loses control of her inflation powers, causing her to inflate, requiring a special medicine to neutralize the gas,
