Using the same program as before, Sonic has been converted into a charging rhino of a machine. Remaining lightweight so that he can still go at incredible speeds, his spines bristle up and down depending on if he wants downforce to go even faster, or lift if he wants to use his mechanical jump boosters. Because of his abilities to get around (and through) a number of obstacles, he also has some targeting relay equipment and a boosted radio ideal for scouting.
