By design, Darkwitt works to leave little evidence of his works. The mark is certainly a calling card, but he never strayed too far from his training. Only those really paying attention would even know he was real.
The same could not be said for pulse.
Bombastic, blunt, and extremely lust driven. Pulse seemingly strives to be everything Darkwitt isn't while still emulating aspects of his appearance.
If they didn't know any better, they might mistake him for the facilitator.
Something that Darkwitt would find very very problematic.
