Matsuris are always best shared with friends, food, snacks, games, prizes. The music playing through the festival is just drowned out by the pounding of the Taiko drums and the fireworks exploding overhead, and you get to dress SUPER cute too.
This was a wonderful art piece drawn by Sukiya as a part of a raffle held by Mousarchy , and I was surprised to have won! It turned out beautifully in the end, with all of the characters wearing brightly coloured yakutas that fit the festival.
It's been a long time since i've been to one. I'd love to go to another one more time in my life. It's an experience worth having. <3
