What, a human?! Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you are, lol.
Last month I discovered this Trinquette Challenge on Facebook. Each month they give a theme. They provide free-to-use reference images that you use to create art for that given theme. The basic idea is to push a bit out of comfort zone by having the themes while also encouraging learning and improving art skills such as anatomy. Overall, seemed like a good and fun idea. And while I didn't /have/ to draw a human, I thought it was a good excuse to practice that more since I really need it.
Last month (June) was 1920's themed. Ahhh, that was fun! Especially since the pilot for the Lackadaisy youtube video came out! Though decided to not do the traditional gangster or flapper girl. Went for more of a jazz singer aesthetic. I think I did pretty well with it!
Skipping July since I'm doing ArtFight (which is tragic, since they are doing spider-man themed), but may do this every so often. :)
