One of the most ironic innovations for pull-ups/training pants are the peel-off sides in the event an emergency change is required. You'd think they'd try to keep these as different from diapers as possible, but nope! Kinda demoralizing when your potty training champion learns his big boy pants still operate like a diaper. It doesn't get better when one of his diaper clad friends is delighted to discover this one day and gleefully pulls the sides undone, much to the champ's horror. Looks like he's gonna go back to diaps if that pull up rips.
