I really wanted depict a sweet scene that happened a while back in the D&D campaign hosted by :linkConradthecatholic: and figured it would make a great birthday gift for :linkcosmic-library: earlier last month.
His character, Igni, briefly had a pet bird, Quetzal. Well, technically it was an undead pet bird as she had reanimated it with her Circle Of Spores Druid powers. Sadly, this meant that it was no more than an empty shell, unwittingly influenced by her to act as a bird. Quetzal had to be let go eventually, teaching the poor kobold a heartbreaking lesson about life and death.
Which brings us to this scene the next morning, where my character, Rokuro, presents Igni with a little wooden statue of Quetzal that he carved during the night. Just a little something for Igni to remind him of the tiny bird she so bravely tried to save.
