After Thrash got his ass kicked by the forces on Angel Island and lost his warp ring, he joins Surge and Kit after an encounter with the Weasel Duo, they ask Surge and his friends to come to see Mogul. He patronized them to create a team to counter the Freedom Fighters, The Chaotix, Suppression Squad and The Destructix. Surge will be the Leader of the group. As they were ready to do the 1st mission, Mogul send them two girls, a Unicorn Pony named Sunset Shimmer and a mysterious southern tenrec girl named Plutia (she seems like a ditz that is very sleepy and talks slowly but something is off with her). The 1st mission was to put a gene bomb for the echidna in Albion. Thrash is very happy about that.
