I noticed that Pepino is so poor that he can't afford even 1 unfortunate apron (or maybe he's just not used to wearing it ???), so his cousin Gustavo (in my headcanon they are relatives) gave him this cheap but cute apron because there were no other suitable options. But I still think it goes with Peppino.
