So after some fiddle-fuckin around with the tablet and seeing steady increase in technical skill... somehow, I decided to get in there and do an actual digital painting. It's almost fully painted, the only exception are the main blocks of color to line out the form I wanted.

And then I pretty much went nuts on it. Brush strokes? You got it! Shading and shit? You betcha! Portrait style final product? Uhhhhh yeah, it looks aright!

So here's Zip. Super fun to work with as always, and hey, I didn't feel completely out of my element while working on it, which is really my guiding star when working on art.
Is this piece an equal measure of challenge and ease? If so, keep going! If not, stop immediately and don't work on anything for a few months!
