On Sunday, October 21st, I will be joining the LA Vision Walk. The Walk is funded by The Foundation Fighting Blindness, a publicy-supported charity that helps fund research for macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and other retinal degenerative diseases. The Foundation has funded thousands of research studies including genetics, gene therapy, retinal cell transplantation, and pharmaceutical therapies.
Now I have a great idea. I've been contacted about commissions, and I've decided (since I don't have paypal or anything) to use this charity site as a way to encourage donations. So the TWO people who donate the most to my specific donation page below (make sure you click the "donate" button above "join this team") will each receive a one page commission of any art drawing they'd like, limited to 3 characters in the pic. It can be clean, dirty, rule 34, OCs, whatever. I just used ponies in the pic to draw attention, the commissions can be anything. I hope this becomes a silent auction of sorts, where I'll have people trying to outbid others, because this truly is a great cause! All proceeds go to the Foundation Fighting Blindness, I am just making time to do these two pics to help raise for this cause.
And, as a special bonus, if I can reach my now lowered $150 goal, I will finish the sketch of Pinkie Pie and Chrysallis as a completed comic page. So here's the link:
