It was a beautiful morning on this particular Sunday, sun was shining, birds were singing, flowers were blooming, and a small cute otter had his face against the window to the backyard of his home.
"Just what are you doing sweetie?" a tall motherly otter asked
"I'm trying to see if the Easter bunny shows up" Joey replied
"I'm sorry sweetie, but you just missed him this morning, we didn't want to wake you up from your sleep as he came hopping along leaving behind all kinds of cute colored eggs for you to find" Sasha replied
"Awwww.... " Joey replied saddly
"I know, maybe next year you will get to see him" she replied
Sasha scooped the little otter into her arms and gave his little tummy a happy tickle, causing Joey to wiggle and squeal happily.
"Now, is mommy's little pup all clean and dry?" she asked
Joey just blushed brightly as he was put over Sasha's shoulder, as she gave him a diaper check.
"Looks like my little pup doesn't need a change, so now we can get you dressed up in a cute shirt mommy got you for Easter!" she replied happily
Sasha carried Joey off to his room and sat him down on his changing table before going to his closet. Joey tried to peek inside to see what Sasha was pulling out, but the motherly otter just stood in front of him so he couldn't ruin the surprise for himself. Joey just pouted a little, seeing Sasha wasn't going to let him see, before she pulled out a cute green shirt that an adorable little Easter bunny on it. Joey looked up at the shirt some blushing at how cutesy it was, but couldn't help but wag his tail liking it regardless.
"I knew my widdle ott would love it" Sasha replied slipping it on over the little otter
Joey smiled looking at himself in the mirror happily liking it
"Thank you mommy!" Joey exclaimed.
"You're welcome sweetie" Sasha replied, giving him a nose nuzzle
Joey hopped down carefully from the table running to the door ready to go egg hunting.
"Hold on sweetie, mommy needs to get your Easter basket" Sasha replied
Sasha walked off to go get the little basket for Joey, but he had already ran out the back door before she finished her sentence. Joey had started to look all over the yard for the eggs having fun. Joey had found an egg tucked away under his little slide, one was nestled in the bushes, and another he immediately found on a window sill. It didn't take long before the little otter had found an arm full of eggs but soon realized he couldn't carry anymore. Realizing he didn't have his egg basket, the little otter tried to improvise and began stuffing the eggs down the front and back of his diaper and soon had all the eggs he found tucked safely away in in his diaper and resumed searching.
While Joey was outside looking for eggs Sasha had begun to look around the house for her little otter not knowing where he had run off to as she held his Easter basket in her paws
"Now where did that little guy run off to this time?" She asked herself with a puzzled look on her face
Joey was still outside finding more eggs but soon faced a new problem, his diaper was becoming full of eggs and was almost out of room. The eggs were poking out of the waistband of his diaper and a couple were starting to poke out of the leg holes of his diaper, leaving Joey to try and juggle the eggs he had in his arms as he tried to make more room to stash more eggs.
At that moment Sasha looked outside and saw her little pup in egg stuffed diaper and walked outside to check on him.
"just couldn't wait for your basket, could you?" she asked with a slight smile
Joey just merely looked up at his mom and smiled innocently.
silly pic of my otter trying to improvise a basket with his diaper. unfortunately his diapers don't have hammer space like the diapers in the rugrats do
