Character Description
Ultra Magnus is the no-nonsense second-in-command of the Autobots and the Autobot Air Commander. Although he longs to change to a ground-borne form once the war is over.
Personality
Ultra Magnus used to be a charismatic diplomatic character when he was the senator of Iacon, but when he joined the Autobots, he became a no-nonsense 'bot who values order and condemns chaos. Still, he still has a spark of gold and a good amount of compassion and does his best to help others.

Background/History
In the waning years of Cybertron's golden age, Senator Umi Pax represented the City of Iacon in the Cybertronian Senate. During a debate, he defended his brother, Orion Pax, who would later come to be known as Optimus Prime, while Senator Ratbat of the City of Kaon defended Umi and Orion's older brother, D-1, who would soon be known as Megatronus, and then finally as Megatron. When the war broke out, Umi left politics behind him when he joined the Autobots shortly after his brother became a Prime. Optimus made him his second in command, giving him the rank of Magnus. Umi renamed himself Ultra Magnus. Now Ultra Magnus works for a better tomorrow for Cybertron.
