A friend uses a picture of a rusty caterpillar kids train ride thing abandoned from Chernobyl as their avatar and they wanted me to try drawing it so I gave it a go. I drew one with and one without the rust included. It's a bit of an experiment with perspective so let me know how I did. Some parts I had to guess coz the rust made it difficult to tell what it originally looked like.
