Neptune usually babysat her Future Champion Sonic (full name Sonic Parlouzer) since South Island is the new capital of Planeptune the land of Purple progress. After Neptune and Histoire took a trip to Mercia, Amy Rose was taken in by both Neptune and Histoire since King O'Hedge wanted nothing to do with his niece after the disappearance of Amy's parents despite Rob’s protests as she is still family. Sonic comforted Amy and became each other’s first friends (Mighty and Matilda were also adopted), Sonic the future champion of Planeptune claims Amy as his first lover, and her Child of Uranus powers gets awakened as Sonic mate marks her.
