When Mylk first was created, it was an a hostile and rough plane of chaos, with the few humanoids on it in a struggle to live. It was the then the collective desire of these poor souls for succor, a figure emerged from the heavens, and used her divine presence to bless this new land. Maia is considered to be Matron Goddess of Mylk's Pantheon and is the only god universally worshiped all over Mylk (with the exception of the city of scraps. Her dogma encompasses all thing good, and views all life forms in Mylk as if they were here own children. It is said she is the one who made Mylk habitable after it's cataclysmic birth, and the milk that fills it's oceans and waterways came from her own udders. Her clerics act as ambassadors for those displaced into the plane and are skilled in the ways of caretaking. It is said the childish and age altering magics in Mylk are due to the way she veiws most mortals as charges in need of her care.
