He is part of a lost tribe, completely cut off from civilization by untamed and highly dangerous wilderness. Armed with little more than his wits and few minor magical tricks, he set out through the wilderness to find a mythical lost city his tribe believes in, only to eventually come across modern civilization and realize that the world is far larger than he could have ever imagined.
