This mercenary travels the continent, taking coin from the highest of nobles to seek out targets. However, his main goal is justice, not greed. He will scope out his targets to ensure their capture or demise is beneficial to the people before acting.
Seemingly weak, he makes up for his lack of showy abilities with stealthy tactics. His main weapon of choice is a cane holding a sleek, sharp sword, but he also is one of the few to possess a firearm. This device uses a ruby to create explosions, propelling any material loaded into the barrel. Powders, metal shot, and other debris can be turned into a projectile force.
His skill with weaponry isn't the only thing that makes him dangerous, though. His skin secretes a unique compound that, upon ingestion, becomes a sedative. Just as well, it also tastes like a floral tea, causing those exposed to want to consume more. All it takes is him shoving his toes into his target's mouth, and it's lights out in moments.
