Okay so, many,many, MANY years ago I was a fan of Monster Rancher.  Because monsters rule...

Anyway to that end I wrote up a fanfic featuring an alternate universe wherein I put some of my own OCs in place of the anime characters in an effort to be "cool."  Of course being a edgy meant that most of them turned up the mayhem somewhat.  Still a few were cool. Amongst my three favorites were Thorne and Strife, a pair of Hare/Joker hybrids I dubbed Devil Hares.  I even made a couplet to put them in the Monster Rancher  poke-rap:

"The Devil Hares use dark magic and brawn,
(Unlock your disk)
If you see their blue eyes, you better get gone.
(Unlock your disk)"

Sadly I lost interest and the story is only partly finished (story of my life), but a while ago some friends convinced me to dig up some old OCs for a laugh and these two boneheads got the go ahead for some fun.

Thorne is the Devil Hares' leader, basically subordinate only to his Big Bad Four commander and Mu.  A nasty character, he has a fixation on restoring his species to the premier spot in the world, a task made harder by the fact there are only about a hundred of his fellows total and they're actually infertile amongst themselves.  To this end he's started kidnapping other hare breeds with powerful bloodlines, hoping to create a new generation of Devil Hares with which to swarm out and conquer the world.

Strife is, or was, Thorne's second.  A nasty psychopath with an unfathomable hatred for Evil Hares (the Devils' replacements when they proved too dangerous), he mouthed off to the wrong general in Mu's army and got his brain liquefied.  Reduced to a cowardly shell of his former self, he still tries to further his brethren's goals, but no longer seems to get why said goals are favorable.

Thorne finds himself forever yelling at the poor creature, but unable to just get rid of him due to lack of warriors.
