An update of this piece from 2007. -> (LinkTastic!)
Like I mentioned on devArt, this took surprisingly less time to do than I expected. the only real sticking point at this stage was the moon in the background. Wasn't sure if I was going to ditch it, keep it or cover it with cloud cover. Instead of fretting too badly, I looked up the old story of the "Rabbit in the Moon" and dropped that on there.
The next step for this is back to the light table to ink it (Yeah... I like these pencils enough to bust out another piece of cardstock to keep 'em safe) and hit it with some watercolors and colored pencils. I'm trying to keep this as true to the original piece as possible in products used while pushing what techniques I've learned or rarely use.
