Yours truly, but as a tanuki (a.k.a. raccoon dog) in avatar form. (You'll find it listed under "Founder's links" in the sidebar of my own Miraheze wiki.) Planned for this afternoon or so, but delayed till this early evening amid a slew of Edge tabbage-turned-distractions.

What's more, this form almost never made it at all, as you'll see below. Keep in mind, this species may be underrepresented as a fursona choice outside Japan (and possibly Korea a bit).

As a Redditor named "Twi5chy" (pronounced "twitchy") promised starting last August 15 at r/ICanDrawThat:

"No, not draw your existing one. I will decide one for you. It's a little past midnight here so quality will be... Unstable. Tell me about yourself, if you want. Or maybe a show or other media you want your fursona to be from. Like if you want it to be a pokemon or something like that."

The moment I opened up as much of myself as possible (mere minutes before five in the morning), the "Offer (Closed)" flair went up:

Once I realised the message wasn't appearing publicly, I messaged the mods--and "Twi5chy". One in ICDT's team bet me it was a longshot--"I wouldn't expect a response from OP"--but luckily, the artist came through. Edited transcript from the RDT message centre, 19:24-22:53 UTC:

T: "Oh yes, I remember! Idk why the mods took [your comment] down, but I eventually closed the post because it was nearing 5AM lol. Your many works confused and enraged me, I'm thinking... Raccoon dog."
R: "1) Think you may have made the right choice here, pal: Pom Poko was part of my 2022 movie marathon!

"2) According to ICDT's mods, the Reddit spam filter thought my Miraheze site was a suspicious link when it's actually hosted by a trustworthy donation-supported wiki farm. 'As far as [we] can tell[,] it was removed on accident.'"
T: "Ahh, gotcha. I've got a drawing I didn't finish before exporting, if you'd still like to see?"
R: "Yep."
T: "here it is". (I corrected his link half an hour later.)

R: "Thanks very much. Wait till I tell r/furry and FA/IB later!

"P.S. I'll use it more as a standard avatar than a real fursona. But hey, it's the thought that counts (as they always say)."
T: "No offense dude but you sound pretentious as h[...]l. And yes, go ahead and post it as your 'general avatar,' whatever that means. I made the drawings for my own enjoyment and the use of the commenters, should they so please"
R: "Many gracious thanks, and I'll see you again! (And sorry if I sounded pretentious to you.)"

And guess what's becoming my FA/dA front-page profile pic soon after this goes to press? (Used to be the flag of my geofictional utopia Rogatia at the latter.) Even my site would kill to have a transparent logo with that likeness; still looking around for potential suitors.

Throwing in an extra bonus guest-starring my rabbit-cheerleader OC, Lisa--exclusively on FA/IB (for obvious reasons).

And by the way: If you want commissions, my line's always been open. This summer, some of my family are going back to Dominica (my native homeland); I'll be staying in the Sunshine State; and I'll miss out on $40 in babysitting residuals while they're away. Now that I've got a new tablet (and in the next how many hours after press time, a pack of styluses) for the task--not to mention a "Tutorial" namespace to accommodate the WIPs I'll deal with--it's about time I made up for it (and then some). I take CashApp and C1, and will only draw mammal species I feel comfortable with. SFW only!
