Sometimes work comes home with you when you volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Skittish and insecure creatures needing to learn that it's okay to be around people, so sometimes they need a little one on one around the clock bonding to ensure the little creature's confidence grows and becomes comfortable around people. In this case, Kinsy and Cody both separately volunteered to undertake this duty, unbeknownst to one another, so when Kinsy was out with her chosen critter, a shy little armadillo, she spotted a familiar face taking a walk through the park, as well, a pine marten of his own sitting proudly on top of his shoulders. It was too late for Kinsy to hide or walk the other way, because Cody had already seen her and was coming to her. What was up with this guy? Always acting so friendly towards her, even after she bit him for trying to affectionately pet her. Certainly it was a trap of some sorts.
"Hi Kinsy!" Cody greeted, taking the marten off his shoulders and presenting it to her in one hand. It seemed like he already had the little one socialized and comfortable with people, because it showed no signs of fear, and was just as happy to see her as Cody was.
