Talarias was originally was a Jester in her hometown, until she like a lot of the Samoyed breed, taken into slavery, but ultimately escaped.

When the Mages Guild formed, Sumiya enlisted her as a high ranking member and remained as such until Sumiya was forced out of her position and the new Archmage returned all escaped slaves in the Guild over to their original masters and became a slave again.

She remained a slave, until she aided in one of the many revolts using her magic and escaped eventually into the custody of the Dolmen and decided to along with the Mayor to live in the newly reconstructed Mineral Town where she works as a jester in order to entertain the people of the island despite being more annoying than funny to the older generation, but funny and entertaining to the younger generation.

She is a Master of the basic elements (Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water) and she uses them in her acts with her big acts including fire-breathing and even knife juggling.

Black Samoyed do exist, just not recognized by the American Kennel Association.

EDIT: Forgot to color the Muzzle, Samoyeds are not known for having a different colored muzzle.
