She's from a timeline where high-tech science and fantasy magic exist. Furries, like Mary, were created by practitioners of both to study evolution but later, used for services for humans. After a civil rights act, furries now live alongside humans.
Relatives/Family
Her parents are unknown. There are no documents of a unicorn/cat hybrid furry, legal or otherwise, ever being created. It is likely her parents were a unicorn and a stray house cat, but her DNA has no signs of being man-made. So it is likely she is a unique example of convergent evolution where nature takes on the features of a man-made creation.
