Got bored. Edited up a changeling noble. Go ahead and throw a fit about canon and fanon to your buddies because it'll just give me more views and stuff anyway and I shall CHORTLE HEARTILY at your buttfrustration.
It's quite obvious that changelings are based partially on bugs, and bugs tend to have (at least) three castes: worker, warrior, and royal / queen. There can be queen or royal caste individuals who aren't the acting queen of the hive, and thus, we have Elytra.
Like all Chrysalis's other younger sisters, Elytra is bossed around and mildly abused by the queen. Unlike Chrysalis's other younger sisters, Elytra says tradition, biological instinct, and character design cues be damned, she's gonna take the queenhood one way or another!
But between her childish tantrums, her awful fashion sense, and her tendency to overlook major factors in her masterfully crafted plans, Elytra pretty much never pulls it off and always ends up looking like G1 Starscream.
Shadows of Equestria is the catch-all name for my contributions to the pony world that are designed to agree to some extent with the canon, as opposed to Reverie Equestria which is essentially full of anthropomorphic sluts. It specifically refers to a project I don't wish to talk about because I don't expect to make any progress in it.
