Believe it or not, despite looking just like ordinary clouds, the ones up and Care-a-Lot are surprisingly soft! Thanks to the magic of the Kingdom of Caring, these clouds are as plush as the fluffiest pillows and as malleable as clay, able to retain whatever shape they're molded to.
Naturally, this makes them the perfect beds for spontaneous midday napping! Bedtime bear can often be found around Care-a-Lot wrapped up in cloudy blankets and taking many such impromptu naps. After seeing the sleepy bear dozing the day away on multiple occasions, Young-at-Heart got curious enough to join him one afternoon. To his surprise, the clouds were just as comfy as Bedtime had made them out to be! So much so that he ended up napping alongside him until the sun went down.
Now, whenever he's feeling particularly lazy or just needs some time to unwind, Young-at-Heart will seek out his drowsy friend and spend the afternoon lazing about with him. If he's feeling particularly cubby, he'll even get padded up and bring along some pacis and his old plush Starbuddy for extra coziness. More often than not, Bedtime even joins in on the padded fun!

Wanted to do a cute piece with Young-at-Heart hanging with another bear and eventually settled on a cozy naptime scene with Bedtime! I plan on making more art with Young-at-Heart just vibing with the other Care Bears individually to show how he spends his days in Care-a-Lot.
I tried to make the background look at least a little bit like in the old Nelvana show, though I'm not sure how close I got, haha. Definitely need to rewatch it to get some references for how Care-a-Lot's layout and architecture and stuff looks, because there's way too little available with just a quick google search ^_^;
Still, I think it came out pretty alright, in the end. I also fiddled around with adding a sort of VHS chromatic aberration type effect.
I really like how it ended up looking, though some of the smaller details get a bit muddled up with the distortions. I'll definitely fiddle around with it more in the future. I also made a version where only the background was effected just to see how it looked. I couldn't decide which I liked between the two, so I figured I'd just put both up!
