(Note: I've updated Polyphema a lot. She now has a golden necklace around her neck, a squid like sea monster tail, and her hair is more seaweed green instead of dark green. She also has a new theme song! It should be her father's but it fits a fight with her:
The captain and her crew were dead silent as the submarine moved through the murky depths. For weeks now they were assigned to search out what their superiors called a "monster" harassing cargo supply shipping. At first, the captain didn't really believe it to be a monster however. He feared it to be some sort of hidden attack by a foreign submarine crew attacking shipping. However, he would carry out his orders as the submersible would move through the ocean. Eventually, they would detect something on sonar. But the sonar technicians would detect a larger signature. One that was mistaken for another sub. The alleged unidentified submersible to be hailed. When radio constant resorted to but mere static the captain ordered torpedo's to be launched at the object, yet after several moments it seemed the torpedo's hadn't hit their mark.
The object would begin to close in. As the crew braced for naval combat it suddenly would move to the side of their hull and close in. Whatever was detected, it was wanting to close in and not engage with torpedo's. The crew feared some sort of boarding party, but then suddenly their sonar would show that the immense signature was right upon their sub.
Suddenly, the entire submarine crew aboard the ship would brace as the entire shook. Alarms would go off, but whatever was rattling the ship hadn't tried to breach into it's hull. Whatever was outside the ship wasn't trying to enter it or damage it, neither was it trying to be rammed. Yet after ten minutes the entire crew and the captain would feel the odd sense of the submarine emerging and being lifted up. The helmsman informed the captain that no such action to go topside. Yet the sonar still indicated whatever the object was that it hadn't mood from it's position. The captain would gaze into the periscope to see and unsettling sight.
The entire submarine had been somehow lifted up and out of the water. As said periscope turned it would gaze upon a huge wall of what looked like dark fabric?
"Oooh! I like fount one of those new fancy mortal whale boats!" A loud and shockingly femininely voice echoed from outside the ship inside, filling the submarine and it's crew with confusion and dread.
Polyphema smiled as she had been very lucky today. She caught the mortals off guard and was able to grab onto one of their darkened 'whale boats'. She always wanted one, but they had those painful stingers that hurt when she got close! Now however, the mortal boat was all hers. As she lifted it up she gleefully thought of adding this boat to her collection of ships she have acquired over the years. This was was long and dark, one the mortals made so they could act like fish and try to fool her! However, this time she had gotten the upper hand on them. Not only this, but she had learnt that the whale boat was filled with yummy humans! Her massive tummy would growl as she thought of having a nice snack of sailors that resided in the vessel.
