Here's a little comic I put together of a couple of drawings involving Nutwood's cute little baby badger Toby from the Rupert Bear series, particularly the Nelvana animated one.
In this comic, Toby ends up finding some kind of golden shiny safety pin anf decides to try it on his nappy which gave some magical results.
Yea, I like to think that the Sage of Um was making a delivery to a place where magician babies are kept for their training to become wizards as they grow up and they wear magical safety pins that help them control the magic they were born with. One might have fallen from his stash he kept in his flying umbrella, fell to the ground and Toby discovered it. Now because Toby isn't a magician, he doesn't know how to control its powers and it can be quite unexpected with its magical results.
