Asha’s time as a navy corpsman saw his involvement in numerous high stakes combat scenarios, playing the role of gunfighter and paramedic simultaneously. Kill after kill, loss after loss, rivers of blood painted his naïve mind; stained his hopeful blue eyes. Ash would emerge from these conflicts as something else, a shade of his former self, and yet so much more.
