I think the concept of the changelings becoming good isn't a bad one. I just believe there was a much better way to go about it. calling them "reformed" seems forced in my mind. and don't get me started on the colour scheme. in my opinion, the good changelings need expanding and updating. (mainly colour scheme) hell, I can get what they were going for with Thorax, I actually really like the horns he's got.

I wish the lesson could have been something like learning to coexist with each other rather than changing your entire species just to fit in with other species. Could have even landed home better if it was something like ‘we learned that simply interacting with ponies and forming actual good relationships with them gives us the love we need.’ With an added lesson of getting passed appearance, not succumbing to what everyone else says about a group and working pass difference. This would also be alot easier to ignore if the new design wasn’t shit.
