For my next contribution to this year's Mermay event, I decided to turn Hawaiian islander sisters Lilo and Nani Pelekai into mermaids.
It's often said that if you're gonna live on an island, you've gotta learn to love the water. Well, these two certainly love being in the water more than they do on land. And now that little Lilo's a mermaid, she can spend more playtime with her fish friend Pudge. Of course there's just one drawback: NO PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH! Oh, well..
