Character Description
Every creature born to this world has one or more distinct marks that they believe correspond to constellations, each with their own distinct domain. Awakening these marks is the key to undergoing apotheosis, but very few ever have the opportunity or ability to set the first spark into motion.
Pip is a small white rabbit and a remarkable doctor in his own right. As an artisan of medicine, he has progressed so far in his field that it ended up initiating his own process of apotheosis and awakened two domains.
One of his constellation birthmarks spans over his left eye, corresponds to the constellation of time, "Eternity." Another is located on their right hand, where the central star is featured on the palm. This constellation corresponds to the constellation of life, "Genesis."
The process of apotheosis isn't necessarily religious, but rather, it is exceeds the limits of what is considered mortal. They are capable of creating miracles, and gain plenty of powers related to their domain. They are also capable of manifesting their domain in a large area around them, which size and strength depends on how far along in apotheosis they are. Domains can manifest in many different ways, but are powerful enough to subtly influence and bend the laws of reality. Sometimes, they grow powerful enough to even subvert laws of reality completely, but the process of manifesting their domain in a larger area of influence versus the passive couple of feet away it radiates from their bodies is extremely taxing.
The most obvious and passive influence of Pip's life domain is the fact that plants, especially flowers, seem to bloom in his presence. Any magic he uses that involves healing or curing receives a boost.
His time domain often manifests as a book of infinitely many fairy tales that exists solely in his mind. It's ever growing contents contains snippets of allegories and other stories that directly describe or allude to things in store in his near future on the last few pages. Every once in a while, new pages will appear, and so Pip has made it a habit to check it every so often. He also gets snippets of the future's possibilities, making him difficult to ambush, and can even exert a bit of interference, sometimes changing an outcome that should've been in stone by plucking new possibilities and dragging them into the current timeline. A side effect of this power is being haunted by a taunting laughter, which only Pip can hear. He believes it is ultimately his mind playing a trick on him, his subconscious wounded from ultimately being unable to steer or completely change the course of fate for him and those around him.
Pip ultimately has a keen interest in understanding the stars and believes that they carry powerful knowledge for those willing to decipher their secrets. He has a magical crystal around his neck, that projects starry patterns when placed before a light. It is a fully functional, real time star map.
