These drawings were based on some figurines of baby mermaids I gave my grandmother.  She kept them in her bathroom once, but I don't know what happened to them after she died.
Anyway, I made a baby mermaid trying to make friends with a curious fish, a merboy riding his dolphin friend through the ocean, and a pair of merbabies in a loving embrace.
Okay, so that last one wasn't an actual figurine...but I have seen actual babies and toddlers doing that.  I guess it just goes to show that love knows no age.
This series is my newest contribution to this year's Mermay event.  Hope you like these.
