Gonna start plugging the last few OCs I haven't shown as one of them is nearing completion!
I was inspired by a certain TikTok series to produce a male character that wears a dress, so meet Hymn!
Hymn hails from an oceanic clan that guards a sacred treasure. Every three generations, a female is meant to be born to learn a powerful song and don the ceremonial gown. However, that wasn't the case, and Hymn ended up being feared as a potential curse.
Despite being ostracized for most of his early childhood, he felt the calling of the treasure. After a long period of debating, he was eventually taught the song and given the gown. As fate would have it, he indeed held the power to keep it going, despite having a different vocal range.
Hymn's song isn't just useful for protecting the treasure, though. He can even use it as a defensive attack, protecting himself while causing damage to anything that gets too close. He's just as much a fighter as he is a protector and performer. Some even say his voice may be the most powerful in many generations.
I used a snap of Mimic as a base, obviously, to doodle this handsome fella.
