Today is a very Special Day. Queen Laylas Royal protector Zuberi is getting married. When Amelia entered the temple, Zuberi fell in love from the moment he saw her.
Zuberi was dressed in traditional Wedding Attire. Amelia was mummified from neck to toe and gowned in Egyptian garments. The wedding ceremony took place in the throne room. Zuberi and Amelia faced eachother while Queen Layla stood between them, for she would perform the ceremony herself.
And all weddings need witnesses presents. My friends Jay, Jin, Donoven and I were all present at the wedding to stand as witnesses. Not like we had much of a choice. The four of us were all mummified good and tight and dressed in Egyptian garments and placed alongside the Bride and Groom.
As the Wedding Began, Queen Layla Spoke.
“On this Day, We come together before the Gods to bind these two Souls in the Eternal Bond of Marriage. You shall forever be faithful to eachother, to cherish, to have, to hold, to love and to protect one-another for all of eternity. Those who stand here with us shall bare witness to this union. Zuberi, you will take Amelia as your Wife. Amelia, You will take Zuberi as your Husband. Should the Witnesses give falsehood or give denial of this wedding, they will suffer dire consequences. By the Grace of the Gods, I Queen Layla the First, Pronounce Zuberi and Amelia, Husband and Wife, from this day and for all Eternity.”
Zuberi then Took hold of Amelia and Kissed his new Bride, sealing their love forever. Amelia was then picked up and Zuberi carried her off to their new Home. Layla then looked to Donoven, Jin, Jay and I, thanking us for witnessing the Wedding and the told us she had something special In-store for us. I became nervous as I wiggled in my bandages, same as the others, wondering what the Queen had planned.
