Kat woke up feeling young this morning. Imagine her surprise when she rose to get dressed and found out why! It seems that, along with her impressive fangs and penchant for mischief, Kat has inherited Grace's ability - if you can call it that - to de-age from time to time. Whether she can learn to control it as Grace has remains to be seen, but in the meantime, it seems like the perfect excuse to take a day off. Decked out in one of her younger sisters' spare swimsuits, probably with permission, and her favorite retro music player, Kat hit the beach to soak up some sun.

It's a bit of a long story, but it boils down to: Grace used to be the ruler of a vast and powerful empire from the age of 10, when her mother passed, to the age of 35 when she was deposed. Following the coup, she woke up in a strange land with no idea how to get home and some worrying gaps in her memory. She's not even sure if Grace was ever her real name, or just one of her titles. Through many misadventures she discovered she's under a divine curse that causes her to randomly age-shift every morning - now controlled by the magic of her collar - and prevents her from dying. Or, more accurately, prevents her from staying dead. The age-shifting part, at least, has been passed to two of her kits that she knows of, and possibly all of them. As for the rest, like everyone else, she hopes never to have to find out.

Despite being a little random at times, it's definitely a fun little thing to be able to relive your youth every now and again. And peaceful beach bathing will always be fun. Just be sure to use sunscreen!

She'd be happy to have you come spend time with her on the beach. Like Grace said, you don't even have to wait 'til next time she de-ages, either, as she'd be happy to have you along any time. Clothes and a towel are a sweet thought, but I think she's settled in for the day. Most beaches in Viridis are clothing optional, too, so it's not like anyone would raise a fuss at seeing a naked bunnyfox, either.
