It was a warm, sunny day, and Ash, Clemont, Serena, and Bonnie were strolling through the forest. They had been walking for a while and decided to take a break. As they set up camp,  Clemont’s Bunnelby volunteered to make dinner for them. “Thanks, Bunnelby. Do you need any help?” asked Clemont. “No thanks. I got it,” said Bunnelby. “Okay. I’ll be here if you change your mind.” Clemont said and went to go talk with the others. While Bunnelby was getting some delicious food ready, Chespin had other ideas. He noticed that Serena had set her purse on a nearby stump. He looked around to check that no one saw him and snuck over and looked inside and saw freshly made macarons. “Yes. I’ve found you,” He whispered, picking one up and putting it in his mouth. He ate about half of the supply before Pancham found him. “Hey,” he yelled, scaring Chespin, who quickly swallowed what he had in his mouth. “Quit pigging out. Those are for after dinner.” Pancham yelled. “I don’t care. I don’t play by the rules,” Chespin growled. “I’m telling Serena,” Pancham said, walking off. “Over my dead body,” Chespin said, unleashing a Vine Whip which hit Pancham’s face and knocked him to the ground. A tear ran down his face, but he wiped it off. “You son of a…” Pancham ran at Chespin and hit him with a Tackle, which knocked him to the ground. “Ow,” Chespin exclaimed. “It hurts, doesn’t it?” Pancham said, balling his paws into fists. “Grrr,” Chespin growled. He ran over and used Bite on Pancham’s arm. “OW, LET GO!!!” Pancham yelled, trying to pry Chespin off his arm. He threw Chespin down and used Body Slam. Chespin kicked him off. The two continued to fight until Pancham threw a Dark Pulse at Chespin. “Gah,” Chespin exclaimed, dodging it. The Dark Pulse went right past Chespin and hit the pot Bunnelby was cooking with, knocking it over and sending him flying. “AAAAAHHHH!!! OOF!! Ow…” Bunnelby flew through the air and hit the ground. “Oh my, Bunnelby.” Clemont cried, rushing to Bunnelby. “Are you alright?” “I… I think so…” Bunnelby replied, climbing to his feet. “Uh oh,” Chespin said. “Just keep quiet. Maybe we’ll get away with it.” Pancham whispered. “YOU TWO!!!” Clemont yelled. Chespin and Pancham froze. “Get over here, both of you,” Clemont said. “Oh no, he never gets mad. We messed up.” Chespin whispered. They hurried over. “What happened?” Clemont demanded. The two shrugged. “Oh no, I think Chespin got into the macarons again…” Serena said, looking into her purse. “Chespin, we talked about this so many times. What were you thinking?” Clemont scolded. Chespin looked at the ground, ashamed. “I…I, um…” He said, trying to come up with an excuse. “He started it. I caught him pigging out on the macarons and when I tried to tell Serena, he used Vine Whip on me. I was just defending myself, I swear.” Pancham said. “Chespin, is this true?” Clemont said angrily. “I couldn’t help it. And I didn’t want to get in trouble.” Chespin said. “Pancham, I’m disappointed in you. You know better than that.” scolded Serena. Pancham was panicking for a second but then came up with an idea. “B-but Mommy, he… he bit me.” Pancham whimpered, holding his arm while giving Serena his best cute eyes. “He did what? Let me see,” Serena said, kneeling in front of him. She looked at Pancham’s arm and saw the large bite mark left by Chespin. “Oh, Pancham. Does it hurt?” She asked. Pancham nodded. “Then let’s get you fix up,” She said, picking him up and bringing him to the base of the camp. As she was wrapping his arm with a bandage, Clemont checked on Bunnelby. “I’m fine, just really irritated,” said Bunnelby, glaring at Chespin. “You and Pancham ruined the food. Now I have to start all over. And on top of that, you could’ve killed me.” He shouted. “You’re being dramatic. Worst-case scenario, you’d have just fainted.” Chespin said, crossing his arms. “Bunnelby has a point, Chespin. You and Pancham shouldn’t have been fighting and you could’ve seriously hurt Bunnelby.” Clemont added. “Well, I’m sorry,” Chespin said. Soon, Pancham’s arm was all bandaged up, since Serena didn’t have any Oran Berries and Clemont tried to remake dinner. Meanwhile, Chespin and Pancham were told to apologize to Bunnelby. And they gave him the most sincere apology they could muster. “Hey, we’re really sorry for hitting you and ruining dinner.” Chespin said. “Yeah, sorry for hitting you with my Dark Pulse.” Pancham said. “Well, if you’re really sorry, you’ll accept the punishment I have in mind for you.” Bunnelby said, grabbing the boys by their paws and taking them into the forest. Chespin and Pancham were afraid of the punishment they would soon receive. Soon they arrived at a stump behind a large tree. “This is a good spot,” Bunnelby said. He looked around and saw a thin stick, picked it up, and examined it for a few seconds. “Perfect,” He said. He walked over to the stump and sat down. “Pancham, since it was your Dark Pulse that knocked me and the pot of food over, you’re going first. Come over here and lay down on my lap.” Bunnelby instructed. Pancham was nervous but did as he was told. He walked over and laid down across Bunnelby’s lap. Bunnelby raised the switch in the air and whipped Pancham’s backside. *CRACK* “AAAHHHH!!!!” The sting in his backside made him scream. He didn’t even mean to, it just happened. Bunnelby raised the switch and whipped Pancham under the tail again. *CRACK* Pancham tried not to scream but winced at the stinging blow as a tear ran down his face. Bunnelby was holding Pancham’s paws behind his back, so Pancham couldn’t shield his bottom. *CRACK* Bunnelby was in no way gentle as he whipped the poor Pancham’s bottom with the switch as he kicked the air. “Pancham, keep your legs still.” Bunnelby said. “I-I-I can’t… It hurts…” Pancham whimpered, tears running down his face. His whimpering was so loud, it scared Chespin, who for the first time actually felt bad for Pancham, even if they were rivals. Bunnelby raised the switch and whipped Pancham even harder. *CRACK* Pancham began to sob loudly as the stinging in his bottom was so severe. Regardless, Bunnelby kept going as he raised the switch and brought it down. *CRACK* “OW, I’M SORRY!!! I’M SORRY!!! PLEASE JUST STOP, PLEASE!!!” Pancham yelled, sobbing intensely. Chespin covered his ears because the sound of Pancham wailing in pain was terrifying to him. He tried to stay calm but was extremely scared. *CRACK* “OWW, I’M SORRY, I’LL BEHAVE I SWEAR, PLEASE!!!” Pancham tried to wiggle so the blows wouldn’t hurt so badly. Bunnelby raised the switch as high as he could and whipped Pancham with great force. *CRACK* Pancham tried to scream but his voice got caught in his throat so all he could do was a loud whimper. “I’m almost finished with you, Pancham.” Bunnelby said, raising the switch. *CRACK* Pancham covered his mouth and screamed at the top of his lungs. “Almost there,” Bunnelby raised the switch and gave Pancham two whips for the price of one. *CRACK* *CRACK* “Okay, Pancham. Except for the kicking and screaming, you did great.” said Bunnelby, rubbing Pancham’s back. “*hic* D-does th-this-*sniff* Does this m-mean i-it’s over? *sniff* C-can I g-go back t-to my M-Mommy, p-p-please?” Pancham sobbed. “Not yet. As soon as I’m finished with Chespin, I’ll take you guys back.” Bunnelby said in a soft, gentle voice. “You’ll get to see your Mommy soon,” Pancham stood up and limped over to the tree. His legs were shaking, his paws were sweaty, and of course, he was overwhelmed by the stinging in his backside. He wanted to run back to Serena but knew that if he made a run for it, Bunnelby would catch him and most likely give him a few more firm whips with the switch, so he stayed put, thinking about Serena, AKA his Mommy. “Come on, Chespin. Your turn.” Bunnelby said. Chespin looked over at Pancham who was digging at a tree trunk with his claws to distract himself from his stinging bottom. Chespin shuffled over to Bunnelby and laid down on the rabbit Pokemon’s lap. Chespin’s punishment hadn’t even started yet and he was already terrified. Regardless, Bunnelby raised the switch and began to whip Chespin’s backside. *CRACK* “AHH!!!” Just like with Pancham, the first hit caused Chespin to yell out automatically. Bunnely raised the switch and brought it down firmly. *CRACK* “OW!! That really hurts,” Chespin whined. “It’s supposed to hurt.” Bunnelby said, raising the switch. *CRACK* “OWWW!!!” Chespin whimpered as a tear ran down his face. He wiped it off and tried to stay strong. Bunnelby raised the switch. *CRACK* “This isn’t so bad,” He said, trying to act tough. “Oh really?” said Bunnelby. *CRACK* *CRACK* Bunnelby delivered two hard whips to Chespin’s rear, which was enough to break him down. “OWW!!! OKAY, I LIED!!! IT HURTS!!! I ADMIT IT!!! IT HURTS!!!.” Chespin shouted as he started to cry. Bunnelby could tell what Chespin was trying to do and knew he wouldn’t be able to keep it up for long. “Tsk tsk, I see what you’re doing. Even after all this, you’re still trying to get one over Pancham. I thought you’d have known better by now, but I guess not.” Bunnelby said, raising the switch. *CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK* “OWOWOWOWOW!!! I’M SORRY, I’LL BE GOOD, I’LL BE GOOD!!!” Chespin sobbed as his bottom stung. “We’re almost done, Chespin.” Bunnelby said, raising the switch. *CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK* *CRACK* Chespin yelled in pain as tears ran down his face. “Alright, we’re done. Time to head back.” said Bunnelby. Chespin stood up and tried not to fall. Once he caught his balance, Bunnelby grabbed him by the ear and dragged him to the tree, where Pancham was still sobbing pretty hard, and grabbed Pancham’s wrist. He then dragged the sobbing boys back to the camp. “There. I’ve taken care of the perpetrators.” Bunnelby said. “What happened?” asked Clemont, noticing they were crying. “I don’t want to talk about it right now,” said Chespin, laying down on his stomach next to Clemont. “Pancham, are you-” Serena barely got to start her sentence before Pancham jumped into her arms. “MOMMY!!! I’M SO SORRY, MOMMY!!! I’LL BE A GOOD BOY FROM NOW ON, I PROMISE!!!” Pancham sobbed. “Pancham, what’s wrong?” Serena asked. “B-Bunnelby beat me with a stick.” Pancham whimpered. “Where did he hit you?” Serena asked. Pancham turned around and bent down a little. “Right here. It really hurts, Mommy.” Pancham whimpered, rubbing his bottom. “Aww, come here, my little Pancham.” Serena said, picking Pancham up and hugging him. Pancham wrapped his arms around her neck and nuzzled up to her shoulder. “I’m sorry, Mommy. I’ll never misbehave again, I promise.” Pancham whimpered. “God, what a little drama king.” Chespin thought to himself. “Shh, it’s okay. Mommy’s here.” Serena said, rubbing Pancham’s back. Clemont picked Chespin up and tried to comfort him as well. Chespin tried to act like he didn’t need it, but Clemont hugged him and Chespin dropped it and snuggled up to his trainer. “Geez, who knew Bunnelby was so… strict?” said Ash. “Can you blame him? Pancham and Chespin made a big mess with their fight,” Bonnie added. “But they’ll be alright since Serena and Clemont are such caring trainers.” Eventually, dinner was made and served. After everyone was full and happy, Pancham and Chespin apologized to each other and made a truce, which Serena and Clemont were glad to see. And they even shared a hug. But everyone knows, the truce won’t last too long and that it’s only a matter of time before the two rivals get back to bickering and fighting again. They never learn, do they?

And for some unfathomable reason, the two "caring" trainers don't seem to give a shit about the fact that Bunnelby did what he did without permission and didn't get in any trouble. What the fuck? That's bullshit, honestly.

Bonus: Can you count how many strikes Chespin and Pancham got, each?

Holy crap, this was even more fun to read than i thought!

Lol, Pancham sure is a drama king here...and the second to last paragraph gave me a chuckle

Hmm...10 for Pancham, and 15 for Chespin?

Correct. Chespin got extra for stealing the macarons. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And are talking about the author's note? (the thing calling Clemont and Serena out for ignorance and negligence)

Ah yeah...i understand that lol

Still, Pancham and Chespin earned their switching if you ask me
