Both Scylla and Adriana by now have decided to break off their confrontation from each other and head toward the opposite directions within the Financial District of Siag. Scylla was recalled back to help with the defense of the Central Administration Building in the center of the city, whereas Adriana would retreat back to the lower district of the city that she already destroyed and came from.
As Adriana would get soon step out of the knee high flood water that she had unleashed with her spell she would stomp onto the pavement and try to dry herself off by shaking her massive body around. All the while keeping her giant spell book back in her purse. As the flood water would fling all over the place she would contemplate her next move. What she needed, at least in her mind was more knowledge of the spells that Aurelia had written in the tome all those many years ago.
It was at this point she remembered that she had unleashed Aurelia's spirit into the body of Alicia. Perhaps, if Adriana could find her grandmother then she would be more cooperative, at the expense of the comparably tiny and fragile body that she was residing in currently.
"I need to pay that old hag a visit, I sincerely hope she kept her end of the bargain and watched over Sabrina" Adriana muttered to herself boomingly and out loud before stomping towards where they last met.
Eventually, Adriana would near the apartment buildings that she once was previously around and surely enough she would find a rather amusing sight on one of the apartment complexes. Upon the rooftop it looked that Aurelia and Sabrina were at a comparably tiny chess table and having a game of chess?
"Queen? I have no queen! What do you mean check mate?" Aurelia would said while in Alicia's body and what appeared to be bickering with Adriana's pet chao Sabrina.
"Chao! Chao chao chao chao chao!" Sabrina said as she would flutter over to the side of the chessboard.
"Oh, I didn't see that. Si si! Best two out of three, prego?" Aurelia would ask to play the chao again in chess until she was rather interrupted by the rooftop they were playing on beginning to shake as a still gigantic sized Adriana slowly neared.
"Ciao, are you two playing chess?" Adriana said as she would stomp up to the apartment buildings rooftop and begin to lean down and squint her eyes.
"Si! But with your incessant stomping babina you may knock pieces off di board!" Aurelia replied.
"Sorry nonna, but I may require your help for something" Adriana replied.
"Chao! Chao chao chao chao!" Sabrina would make out as she would begin to fly up to Adriana's massive nose and proceed to land on it.
"I missed you too Sabrina, it's good that you have been keeping busy with my nonna" Adriana said as she would smile and squint her massive eyes at her nose with her pet black chao standing on it.
"What is it, dearie? We will be needing to get back to our chess game shortly" Aurelia said as she would suddenly begin to levitate into the air and up to Adriana's eye level with Alicia's body.
"I need your wisdom to help me learn more spells in the book. Something that can take down mia sorella Scylla, but non-lethally as I just want her subdued and not harmed" Adriana replied to her.
"Oh molto bene! Si si, I know just spell to do di job! However, I have mio own conditions" Aurelia said as she would give an rather uneasy smirk.
"Oh really? Well, I already allowed you to once more walk amongst the living, so it better be simple" Adriana said now realizing there would be a catch.
"I want a dress, one like I once had ages ago. Long and dark crimson, very elegant for mio liking!" Aurelia stated.
"Ah, okay. Well sure, I can help you find a bella dress, nonna" Adriana said as she would sigh in relief.
"Va bene, now go find a dress and I'll be setting up the board for our rematch with signora Sabrina here" Aurelia said as she would begin to levitate back down to the rooftop where the chessboard was placed as Sabrina would nod and flow down with her.
"Alright, give me a bit" Adriana stated as she would stand back upright and look around the district for where she could find a dress.
It was at this point Adriana sort of regretted that she didn't try to grab one while she was looking for a new purse at that store in the Financial District of Siag. Still, by now due to the flooding she caused it probably would be ruined anyways. Still, she didn't want to break that bad news to Aurelia, thus she decided to search for another store or home with one as Adriana slowly began to stomp off to fetch one.
"I'll be right back, ciao" Adriana said as she would wave a smile to Sabrina before stomping off.
She would begin to stomp off towards the wrecked Wallet Mart that she had visit earlier. While on the way there she could see a huge trail of her previous stroll through this district of the city. While Adriana's return would surely be unwarranted by many around her she cared little for the locals who always mocked her as being a freak or insane. Still, she would look around for a store where she would often visit before and tried to figure out where she could find a red dress for her grandmother Aurelia.
Eventually she came to a quaint shop she used to buy from. While it wasn't as fancy as the one she visited in the Financial District, it still had some good stuff and she recalled some red dresses there from years ago in her memory.
"Oh yeah, that place Gracia's may have one, I'll try there" she said as she would slowly stomp down the street towards the store.
As she would approach, the people inside who had already been through her rampage before would seek cover and go down a hidden hatch to a storm shelter within the store. Others would begin to hide under their desks as now literally everyone in Siag realized who and what Adriana was. People inside the fashion store braced themselves for the worst as a huge shadow would be cast right outside the windows.
With just a few loud booming steps of her large red slippers, Adriana had made it right next to the store. She would slowly begin to lean down like she did before to try to search inside. However, as soon as she the titaness vixen would lean over to look inside the store, she felt a sudden and tense job into her backside! She had no idea what this pain was, but it stung to her like a hornet!
"Ouch!" Adriana suddenly let out as she would turn around to see what it was.
To her shock, she would notice some sort of crazy Moebian fox man with some sort of sword lodged into herself!
"Oh come on! Grief sent another assassin to try to stop me?!?" Adriana blurted out.
"Not quite lady, but I can't let you cause any more harm to the good folk here!" the fox said as he yanked the tiny glowing sword he had daggered into her causing some pain to her as he would suddenly leap off her and land onto the rooftop of a nearby apartment complex.
The vulpine man looked to be in his younger twenties but still of adult fighting age. Yet there was only some sort of rugged armor on him that made him look like he came out of a wasteland. The fox had natural red hair and a yellow mussel, but also a weird slash scar around his chest. His fur was dark red and looked like he was out in the sun by the looks of things.
"You got some nerve!" Adriana said as she winched in pain and would slowly turn around to face him.
"Yep, I reckon I do!" The fox said as he would point the sword at her.
"Who even are you? One of Grief's goons come to stop me?" Adriana asked him as she scoffed and would rub the back of her dress with her hand where he'd had jabbed his sword into her.
"Call me Scorn, Prince Scorn! I'm with the Moebian Liberation Front and I'm here to take you and your dogone dirty kin down!" Scorn replied to her.
"You're with the rebels?!?" Adriana said as she gasped.
Adriana had heard them on the news for about several months now. The MLF were rebels from outside the city of Siag who were having some sort of guerilla movement against her brother's Order. She however didn't know who this Scorn person was. Of course, the Order would heavily censor and distort the public's perception of this rebellion to where it was downplayed.
"So that's it? You're some freedom fighter or something come to stop me?" Adriana asked him as she would stare down.
"Dang skippy, ma'am" Scorn replied in a oddly gentleman like manner.
"I'm not with the Order!" Adriana replied snidely.
"Don't care to be honest, you're causing a mess and innocents are suffering because of it!" Scorn said.
"What's it to you, little fox?" Adriana replied as she scoffed.
He would suddenly begin to dash down the apartment building with an unbelievable amount of speed and suddenly through the street and right up her leg! This caught her completely off-guard, she never encountered someone even remotely this fast before. She would try to reach down to grab him, but before she could he would jab his glowing green energy blade right into the side of her leg!
"Ouch!" Adriana let out as she winched in pain.
"I'm gonna ask ya kindly once more for us to take this out of the city and away from these people" Scorn replied up to her.
"Go to hell" Adriana simply responded in a rather cold manner.
"Okay, so now I'm not gonna ask so kindly anymore!" he said as he yanked out his energy sword and began to rapidly dash up her entire body.
She had little time to react as he moved so fast that even moving her arm into position would be to slow. He rushed up her dress and before she knew it he was on her shoulder! Fortunately he would give her time to turn her comparably massive head over to her right shoulder and look at him.
"Face it senorita, you're outmatched here. Now ya'll best be surrendering and perhaps we can talk about this all civil like. Otherwise you're gonna have to force me to cut you like a barbecue sandwich!" Scorn sternly warned.
"How about no?" Adriana simply responded.
Adriana paused for a second, then she tried to simply blow him away with a huge gust of wind coming from her massive mouth. While she knew she couldn't get him off of her in time with her slower reflexes than him, the fact the fox man was dumb enough to literally position himself up close to her mouth for her to simply blow him away. As she would blow the biggest gust of wind she could from her mouth right at him he would be flung off of her and tossed over to a nearby rooftop. She would give a simple smirk upon her face as he would fall and collide with the rooftop and land with a huge thud.
"Ugh! You Bradanska's are all damned opportunists! Every last damn one of ya!" Scorn yelled out to her as he would get up from the rooftop and point his sword at her.
"You know little about my family, but I'll humor your proposition for now" Adriana said.
"I care not for your charity, but our goals appear to align, at least for now" Adriana said as she would stare at him.
"Nuh uh, first you shrink back to normal and then we'll talk, ma'am" Scorn demanded.
"You think I'm going to lower my guard? Take away my size advantage and leave myself vulnerable?" Adriana said as she let out a booming laugh.
"Yup, especially since being all big like that won't do shit to me. Whatcha say, amiga?" Scorn asked.
She then took out a deep and loud sigh as she began to roll her eyes. As much as she hated to admit it, Scorn had a point. His speed and reflexes were superior to her own and sadly with his powers her own were simply countered.
"Fine, we can talk, but I'm watching you" she said as Adriana would closer her eyes and slowly begin to revert back to normal Moebian height, with her clothing, jewelry, and her purse with Aurelia's book shrinking with her.
As she would turn back to normal, Scorn would suddenly dash with an unbelievable amount of speed down the side of the store building and right next to her, causing her hair and cape to flow, as well as her dress and mussel.
"I want to talk to you out of the eyes of the public, follow me" Scorn said as he would dash into a nearby alleyway.
"Fine" Adriana could only make out after he rapidly moved before slowly following behind him into the alleyway.
"This better not be another stupid ambush" Adriana muttered to herself remembering the last time she was in an alleyway with another man.
She could see him at the edge of the wall, she would slowly and daintily approach him while trying to fix her hair with her hands while her ruby red slippers would tap down the alleyway. He seemed to be waiting on her and tapping his foot while motioning him to come near to him. He appeared to be rather impatient.
"If this is some sort of trap, it won't work" Adriana replied.
"Nah, like I said I could deal with you if you're a hugeass or not" Scorn replied.
"Grr!" she only let out by his insult.
"Honey, you've killed people. I don't have any sympathy" Scorn said to her.
"And you stabbed me with your fancy green glowing energy sword, anyways. What do you want to talk to me about?" Adriana asked.
"You've been all over the news, you're Grief's older kin. Tell me, why are ya'll going around the city and causing a fuss instead of helping us?" Scorn asked her.
"Us?" Adriana replied as she walked up to him.
"The MLF, in case it's not obvious we're not the biggest fans of your brother as well" Scorn asked.
"You're planning an uprising? Is that it? You want me to join you?" she asked.
"Yes, well no. Er, maybe. Depends on if you can behave yourself and be a good little girl for now on. We're here to liberate Siag, not destroy it!" Scorn stated.
At this Adriana would pause. She had to think about it for a moment. While the prospect of getting more allies, or at least useful tools to help deal with Scylla did seem rather alluring. She still realized her goals were, less than noble considering the mayhem she had already caused. Still, she could perhaps play along and get Scorn to help her with Scylla. Up to a point at least.
"Perhaps, but under some conditions. I'm no hero, as you can perhaps tell" Adriana stated.
"Noted, trust me girl we know all about you. Those murders, the destruction of the Wallet Mart, the flooding, your methods are not what we call subtitle" Scorn replied in a snarky manner.
"Still, I will need help against Scylla. Even with my brother's power she is simply more trained for melee" Adriana stated.
"Now yer talkin, you want me to bring that bitch down?" Scorn inquired.
"She's my family, I merely want her subdued. Perhaps she can be reasoned with to stop serving Grief. It's worth a shot" Adriana asked.
"I don't think so, but I'll try to bring her down if I have to" Scorn replied.
"Grazie, she's just caught up in Grief's tyranny. As are your rebel amicos. If she is out of the way I can help bring the entire C.A.B down. Will be, most therapeutic for me" she said as her eyes would begin to glow bright green.
"First things first dear. I'll deal with your sister, if you're cooperative with the Moebian Liberation Front for now on and keep the casualties down for now on, deal?" Scorn offered her as he would put out his hand.
"Si, oh and one more thing" she said as Adriana would walk over and proceed to shake his hand.
"What might that be, darlin?" Scorn asked, with a hint of sarcasm.
"Don't ask why, but I need just a simple and nice long red dress. My uh, grandmother is looking for one. One reason I was trying to search through the store over there to be frank" Adriana asked.
"Don't got any money for that?" Scorn asked as he batted an eye.
"No, I do. It's just, I need one soon and they're hard to find. Plus, being public enemy number one by my brother would stop any purchases now" Adriana stated.
"Boy howdy, you Bradanska's love getting yourselves in trouble, dontcha?" Scorn asked as he sighed.
