Angel is Kayla's half-sister, concieved under uh...'mysterious' circumstances that are not mysterious to a certain entity, it was just part of the plan. It turned out pretty well considering it's the result of a real sperm cell and something rather unnatural.
Angel was a troubled young pup that Kay took in and started caring for, swiftly becoming a mother figure for her. Silent, slow, but above all else incredibly smart, this little fluffball now lives happily with her older sister and Axel, in an interesting pseudo mother-father-daughter relationship. One that has all three happy and grateful, things truly couldn't be better now a days...quite the break from everything that came before, but the past is the past.
Quite introverted, but never anxious over social circumstances, Angel rarely ever speaks. unsure wether it's the result of troubled development, a disability, or just...personality, Kayla has learned over time how to understand her perfectly with looks alone, even when from the outside, her "looks" are a permanent sleepy face and eyes that seem fixated in something far away, unperceivable to others.
