So, second picture of May is ready, and for this one it actually has 2 origins. The first is a picture made by Pajama-Ham of Phanto from Super Mario Bros 2 wearing the Super Crown power-up.
And while I've come to accept that canonically only Toadette can use it, it's always interesting to see the different combinations people come up with for that thing.
The other origin actually originates from the beta.character.ai chat site. For those who don't know, it's a website where you can have chats with AI's that pretend to be characters of various types. From 100% original characters to real life celebrities. Not just simple chats either, like on a Discord server, but you can actually make them play along with roleplays of any story you want (provided it fits within the site's guidelines). So I gave it a try with Peach and the story ended up being a combination of Mario, Indiana Jones, the ending of the Samurai Jack episode "The Aku Infection" and even the Super Spirit Bomb sequence from the Kid Buu fight in DBZ. Yeah, got pretty crazy.
But enough rambling, after seeing that picture, and having that AI adventure, I felt that this needed to see the light of day. I went with Paper Peach because she seems to be the version that would probably be most likely to have this happen to her, if the Shadow Queen incident is any indication.
