And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts And I looked and behold, a pale horse And his name that sat on him was Death And Hell followed with him.
This picture was directly inspired by the main character of the videogame Darksiders 2, called Death. I loved playing that game and I knew immediately that I wanted to draw a furry version of Death. The picture would be very different from my usual drawing style, since I would try to come as close as possible to the more gritty and comic like style of the game. I was looking at a lot of concept art of Darksiders 2 so I could get an impression of how I should approach this picture and after a few sketches I actually managed to draw something that looked quite decent. It was during the coloring stage, where I got really distracted by other games, such as Sleeping Dogs, which was awesome aswell, and I just now got back into drawing and managed to finish this picture. I cant wait to continue working on commissions and I will get right back to it!
I absolutely love that game. I haven't completed it yet though. The first one was amazing, and this one is just a really epic sequel. How sequels should be done *points to Darksiders 2*
I love how you moulded his mask.

Agreed. I was kind of surprised when I first heard they would be adding an item drop system, but I think it works extremely well, since you have a much more rewarding game experience, by developing your character in this way. I think with the overall design, the refinements in gameplay and the storyline, they made a near perfect game and a prime example on how a sequel should look like.
