A few days have passed since that faithful meeting between Robyn and Gaeb. Robyn and the others were resting in the outskirts of the nearby village to gather things like food and other supplies. During this time, Robyn decided to have an adventure in town where she would wonder around in her human form. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, it was pretty much like any other village with bustling crowds and children playing in the street. But as she wondered around, she accidentally bumped into someone who dropped their bucket of supplies. As Robyn apologized for causing him to drop his things, she recognized his voice as he replied with 'it's alright'. She paused for a brief moment with her eyes slightly widened, and then she saw his face. It was Gaeb, the boy she rescued and befriended in the forest in her wolf form. As Gaeb faced her, he noticed a slight blush on her face as she seemed shy and embarrassed about something. After being asked if she was okay, Robyn collected herself and tried starting some small talk with Gaeb. She introduced herself as Gaeb did the same in return, allowing her to call him by his name without drawing suspicion to the incident in the forest. Robyn asked if it was okay with her to come along with Gaeb on his daily routine to which he agreed. It wasn't long before Robyn and Gaeb started hitting it off, sharing stories about their travels and wanting to explore the wider world outside of their home. Gaeb revealed himself to be an orphan boy, who spent a lot of his time on his own. He would perform tasks around the village in exchange for money to buy food, and when he didn't have a job to do he would go into the forest to gather food and resources before settling in the clearing near the entrance of the village. He never really had a family or a place to call home as he was always on his own, which prompted Robyn to ask if he'd like to travel with her and her folks. Though Gaeb liked the prospect of traveling and developing some social skills, he wasn't fully sure about leaving the village behind as he had settled there for as long as he could remember. Perhaps it was an offer he could consider while Robyn and her folks were visiting the village. Though Gaeb didn't mind a warmer place to rest up, as Robyn could tell from his stories about resting in the clearing. So she asked if at the very least, she would like to spend the night with her and her family, to which Gaeb happily agreed. It seemed like a simple request for Robyn to spend time with a new friend. But little did they both know that this would be the event that would lead to an unexpected revelation.
