(I know this isn't the best 3D art ever but I am only been doing this for about 2 weeks ^^;)

So I started taking a 3D art class and me and a few people wanted to make 3D characters for our projects but the professor said it would be too hard for beginners to do something like that. Well.. Challenged accepted and pass it seem. Hopefully I get better at as time goes on.

If your wondering why I modeled Yoshi naked, I find them cuter that way and the feet were more of a challenged than the saddle and shoes would of gave me anyway. That and if I wanted to use this as a base, its a good start to me.

Was done in Maya 2013.

P.S. - Sorry about the seam going down the middle, couldn't figure out how to fix it correctly.

I don't know anything about 3D modeling but I think it looks good :3

Random question, have you tried using Blender instead of Maya?

Yes I had. I personally hate it.
