Coming to Sally's rescue in the fortress of Mordred Hood, Sonic finds himself in a familiar yet always frightening situation. However, thinking ahead pays off as he showed his brainwashed GF a relic of their shared past: A Royal Crown Emerald. Suddenly overcome with flashes of their memories together, Mordred's control over the warrior princess is broken. Happily reunited, the duo repay their vicious host with a swift defeat rage purge and defeat.
