Character Sheet for Strawberry
Character Description
Strawberry is a golem with a very kind and loving nature and care for her friends a lot. She is very patient, likes to take care of small animals and plants, and also doesn't seem to get bored easily. For most of the time, Strawberry remains jolly and cheerful. However she is very afraid of being alone due to her nature and her past.
Strawberry is basically a giant living plush doll, and all the clothing (including the socks, Band-Aid, the bows on her pigtails) is actually part of her body. As a result, the clothing on her body can grow back like skin. Strawberry, with a lot of other golems similar to her kind, were made by an unknown sorcerer long time ago. Their creations were meant to help the people in their hometown, which is now half burnt down and abandoned. Although the exact method and details of creating such creatures is lost, it is known that these golems are not robots and do have souls. These golems are created for protection, specifically for caretaking children. As a result, they generally have an appearance of oversized plush toys. For most of the time, they would be playing with children, and protecting them from dangerous situations, but sometimes they'll also help the adults with some simple chores. However as time goes on, the act of creating golems has become controversial due to ethical concerns and morality, thus the method was lost in history.
Background/History
During an adventure, Almond and Tuna stumbled upon an abandon city, and decided to explore it further. They then found numerous deactivated golems within a large structure that looks like a nursery.
At that time, Tuna was also trying to make a revival potion following a very old recipe, which she had tested on dead insects and seemed to work. Seeing such opportunity, Almond decided to try out those potions on the golems despite the concerns from Tuna. Soon enough, as the effect of the potion started to kick in, the seemingly dead golems begin to rise up and started moving. Yet, these golems’ mind seemed to be corrupted, and are unable to communicate and reason with. They perceived Almond and Tuna as children and tried to stop them from leaving the building; some of them were even violent during the process, which inevitably leaded to a fight.
As they were escaping, they saw Strawberry in a room, who was injured and missing a leg. Unlike the other golems, she did show any sign of corruption and was able to talk to Almond and Tuna. Strawberry told them that, because these golems of her kind were created to be with children all the time, it is possible that they lost their mind because of loneliness. But, she was not sure as she had passed out from hunger before any of this happened. Seeing that she is conscious, Almond and Tuna decided to offer her help as they were responsible for her reanimation. So, they patched her up with the remains of other golems and escaped with her.
After that incident, Strawberry stays with Almond and Tuna as she doesn't want to be left alone again. For Almond, she thinks that it is cool to befriend with possibly the only alive golem, while Tuna appreciate someboby who is very loving and nice.
