Today was a very busy day at work so I needed to relax a little.
In other words I wanted to draw something easy and, as usual, it's a Sonic character.

Ok, let's consider this a companion piece of the Fiona fox redesign and talk a little about character design.
So, what was the role of Barby in the original comic?
Eye candy. The girl of her 5 member party. No personality at all. She likes Tails, and the platipus dude. Stop.
So, what role can we put her in a modern story?
Probably background noise, but if you really want something here my headcanon.
She's a power character, able to climb and very strong, but slow and she needs to sleep and eat a lot. She loves to keep leaves in the pocket of her dress.
She's not the sharpest tool in the box and she likes tails because his tails are confy and fluffy.
Basically she's a clumsy, adorable powehouse.
