The Great Mouse Detective is truly where the Disney Renaissance started. He saved the studio and gosh darnit, he needs more love. and i'm here to make sure he gets it! He's not only the best crime sleuth in the business but oh boy he looks so good doin it!

I'm pretty sure i'm going to eventually make a backside version of this wonderful Mouse...

of course the hard part really is deciding on whether to stay accurate to Basil's actual body type, Or should i take liberties and give him one of those hot bodies other artists do? I tend to try to stay on model which i'm not sure if people prefer more or if they would rather see Basil's head on a more attractive body??? i don't know. let me know in the comments what you guys prefer.

Never thought of Basil as a briefs guy. I guess I never really considered what kind of underpants a Victorian mouse detective would wear. Still, adorable as hell. :)

we did look into it and sadly the victorian era underwear was not very flattering. it was either Long underwear that buttons from the neck down to the ankles. or it was really puffy shorts. sadly modesty was a big thing.
