A meteor shower filled the sky with beautiful streaks of light. Many all over the country gazed up at the falling meteors in awe, whilst others missed it entirely as they slept. But during the special display, something else fell towards the planet’s surface, getting closer to the ground… and closer…

THUDDD!!

The ‘meteor’ was in fact a blue spherical creature. It let out a soft “Eep!” as it bounced from the powerful impact with the ground, then bounced a few more times until it skidded to a halt in the dirt. The little creature shook his body as he righted himself, the antenna on his head wiggling around while he went cross-eyed for a moment. Groaning, he looked around his surroundings, a park near the outskirts of a city. It was a fib, a creature who gains size from lies.
“Good thing it’s night time.” The little fib said to himself. “Otherwise my life would’ve been over before I could do anything at all.”
The fib began to hop away, using the dim lighting of the night to blend in with all the tall shadows of trees, street lights, and buildings. Searching for a decent place to spend his first night on this planet, he intended to find a home to sneak into already. Trouble was, every house had its doors closed, and any open windows were out of reach of his tiny body, even if he were to hop onto nearby objects. After passing several more houses, Fib paused, then hopped back a little. He felt strange, thinking it, but– something called to him at this house. He wasn’t sure what, or why, or even how he knew, but his otherworldly instincts were telling him to enter this specific house.
The house looked no different from many others: a small, one-story house that meant not too many beings could be living there. None of those vehicular units in front, so perhaps it wasn’t even occupied at the moment. But… was that side door open a crack?
Hopping over to the side, Fib was delighted to see an inky blackness no more than a quarter inch thick between the door and its frame. But that was enough, as even a creature as small as Fib could widen that opening simply by pressing against it. And just like that, Fib was inside a home! He decided to shut the door as much as he could by doing the same to the other side of the door, making sure to make as little noise as possible.
No lights were on, making navigation fairly tedious, with Fib only able to use the dim streams of moonlight from the windows to see his surroundings. But a constant noise turned his body towards an open door. Snoring! There was somebody here!
Fib kept his mouth shut as he hopped through the open bedroom door and into the center of the vast (to him) sleeping quarters. Speaking of sleeping… There it was.

Hopping onto a chair, then a desk, Fib was able to see the sleeping creature was a wolf. The wolf was gigantic compared to the teensy alien! Even obviously curled up, it was much, MUCH larger than Fib, with hands and feet (or rather, paws) twice his size. Fib spent a little while staring up and down the wolf’s body, taking note of its mouth, which seemed juuust the right size to avoid him being devoured, which was a relief. The fur all over its body was gray, with a black mark on its chest. Looking downward once the moonlight illuminated the rest of the body, Fib realized it was a male wolf. ‘That could make things interesting…’ Fib thought to himself, his mouth twisting into a devious smirk. But for now, he should hide.
After sweeping his eyes across the room from his vantage point, Fib decided he might as well hide underneath the bed. Hopping directly off the desk, he used the momentum from his fall to bounce and roll across the carpeted floor until he came to rest under the bed. Well obscured from view, the little alien closed his eyes. ‘Tomorrow, I’ll watch him more. Learn what he does. And then… I’ll see just how big I can use him to be.’

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flare slowly opened his eyes. After a few minutes of simply blinking, he yawned and stretched his arms and legs. “Another day… damn….” He spent the next several minutes just shifting around, stretching in his bed. Eventually, he stood up, and stretched once more. His tail began to wag a little, and he left his bedroom to eat.
The wolf’s actions had woken Fib, who remained unnoticed under the bed. Being much quicker to perk up once awake, the alien watched as paws bigger than him thumped onto the floor, then shuffled away.
This is what he disliked the most about the cycle of his species: observing. He couldn’t just head out there and communicate with the larger being, at least not without the very likely chance of death. He had to make sure he could use the being he watched before even thinking of approaching them. If anything threatened his life before he could become big enough, he would run away, then search for another being to unknowingly help him achieve his goals of ruling a planet. Of course, this would mean needing to wait and study someone all over again. For this reason, Fib had sought out ways to quickly see if the one he was with would be worth his time.
As soon as Flare left his home and headed for work, Fib hopped into action. Now that he could see everything, and the whole house to himself, he hopped back onto the desk and nudged the computer mouse, bringing the screen to life. Fortunately, he had previous experience with such technology, so he knew how to work around his tiny stature. Navigating around the documents, the little alien shivered with excitement, the same odd feeling from the night before returned. He had found some interesting images and documents that made his antenna quiver with delight. A sinister smirk spread over his teensy face. “Perfect…. Hehehehe… At last, someone who can do much more for me than he could ever imagine…”
Fib began to plan his rise to godhood, staring at the picture he had pulled up: a giant, buff green wolf standing over a destroyed city. “That will be me soon enough… Perhaps even by tonight…”

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Several hours later, Flare returned from his factory work, panting and sweating. “That was rough… I deserve a raise, holy… Or at least a break.” He showered, ate his dinner, and went to his bedroom. Upon booting up his computer screen, he was greeted by the giant wolf picture he’d found online. “Huh… I must’ve forgotten to close that.” He shrugged, closed the image, and thought nothing of it.
Meanwhile, Fib was waiting for the perfect opportunity to show himself to the size-obsessed wolf. Perhaps waiting for the idea of work to enter his mind… One could never be too careful, especially knowing this one would absolutely make him big.
However, things did not go to the alien’s plan. Flare shifted in his seat, causing the phone on his lap to fall, bouncing off the carpet and under the bed, nearly crushing Fib, who couldn’t help but let out a soft yelp and scramble away.
Flare got out of his chair, and was about to bend down when he realized he’d heard something… or rather, someone. “What the…” He got on his stomach and peeked under his bed. He fumbled about for his phone, but instead brushed a finger against something round and bumpy. “The hell is this?” He withdrew his hand from his searching, then looked at what he’d just grabbed. Fib, having gone deathly still, just stared back.
“AAAAHHHH!!” Flare shrieked, dropping the alien and leaping backwards, stumbling against his bed.
“YYYYIPE!” Fib cried out as he bounced on the floor, rolling to a stop beside the wolf’s footpaw. He should’ve expected some surprise, but his plan to grow had pushed that from his mind. He sat there, staring up at the 4 foot tall wolf, trying to speak but just stuttering. “U-Um-Ah…”
“It-It SPEAKS TOO?!” Flare danced away from the spherical creature, scrambling to his bedroom door. “No no no no, I’m dreaming, I’m drunk, this is NOT real!”
“W-W-Waiit!” Fib yelped, not wanting the wolf to leave… But also realizing he had just lied, which made his little body swell up in size like a living balloon. “I-I swear I won’t hurt you! I was just hiding from, ah, other beings!” He wasn’t thinking about what he was saying, he just needed the wolf to stay.
Flare couldn’t see Fib from his spot in the hallway. He just stared at his bedroom door, nearly hyperventilating. Surely he was dreaming. He knocked himself out while in the shower after work, and this was just a bad dream. An alien was in his home. And it talked to him.
“I promise I can’t hurt you! I was just hiding, and your place just happened to be where I hid!” The wolf could hear the alien pleading with him. 'This is going to get me killed,' he thought. But, after taking a deep breath to calm himself a little, he slowly stepped back into his bedroom.
The alien was maybe a foot tall, with lumps on his round body. Two big eyes stared up at Flare, and below them was a large nose and a mouth, together forming a nervous expression. A small antenna jutted from the top of his head, shifting around with his body. He looked scared more than he looked dangerous.
“S-So… Um… You’re… You’re real…” Flare said slowly, as he sat down on the floor near the alien.
Fib nodded, inwardly relieved he had returned. “Y-Yeah… Sorry for scaring you like that.”
“N-No no, it’s okay… I just wasn’t expecting anything living to be there…” The gray wolf reached back under his bed and pulled out his phone, then set it aside. “Um… May I ask, what are you?”
“My name is Fibrilius Minimus.” Fib said his name slowly. “But you can just call me Fib. I fell to this planet, and was exploring… when, ah, I was suddenly being chased in the dark, so I managed to make my way in here, where I hid.” Fib figured lying to the guy wouldn’t be a bad idea, since he didn’t want to give away why he was really there. And it was only a half lie, anyways.
“Okay… So, you’re from outer space?” Flare tilted his head, ears flicking as he reached out and gingerly touched Fib’s body. He then slowly picked up the basketball sized alien and set him in his lap. “That’s… pretty cool.”
Fib let the wolf hold him. “So, Mr. Wolf… I guess it would be nice to ask… Are you okay with me staying with you?”
“O-Oh, yeah.” Flare nodded. “Sure, you can stay here. Also, my name is Flare. Flare Wolf.” He petted Fib on his head, which the alien thought felt kind of nice. “It’s nice to meet you, Fib. I’m happy to be your first friend on this planet.”
Fib smiled at his ‘friend.’ 'Not a friend,' he thought. 'A Fibber.'

---------------------------------------------------------------------

A few days passed with nothing happening, according to Fib. While he did learn more about Flare, he hadn’t grown any more than that first lie, on the first day. 'Perhaps I chose unwisely…' He thought, as Flare showed him his favorite movie. 'Or maybe this part of my plan takes time. I haven’t gotten this far before. I guess I should just play along until he lies some more.'
The wolf had quickly adjusted to having a roommate. Upon learning the little guy didn’t need food, but could if he wanted, he made sure Fib knew how tasty all of his favorite foods are. He had already told Fib all about how his world worked, and now he lay down on his bed, with Fib snuggled up near his chest, watching his favorite film. “How are you enjoying Earth, Fibby?”
Fib frowned at the screen. He didn’t like the nickname. It made him sound friendly. Not dangerous. When he could be… “Wha? Oh, I’m liking it so far. It sounds like a great place.”
“Maybe I should take you outside so you can actually see the world for yourself, next time I get off work,” Flare suggested. “I could keep you hidden from view, so you would be safe from anyone trying to find you.”
Fib perked up. 'This might be an opportunity…' “You could just get off work tomorrow. Tell your boss you’re sick.”
“That’s not how that works,” Flare pointed out. “I have to have a legit reason. At least, legit to my boss. Not some bold-faced lie.”
“Oh no no, come now!” Fib had to hide the grin from his face. This is what he was good at! “It’s just a teensy little fib. Not something dramatic, or outlandishly untrue! Besides, your boss wouldn’t know you’re lying! What’s he gonna do, go to your house and give you a check-up?”
This made Flare reconsider his stance. “Huh… You know, you’ve got a point there Fib. It’s just for one day… and I really want to show you around as soon as I can… Yeah, I think I will do that!” He paused the movie, then reached for his phone.
Fib was about to celebrate to himself. He’d done it! Flare was going to lie! But then he realized… he was right next to his Fibber. He wouldn’t be able to hide his growth…
“Uh, I’ll be back. Gonna get something to eat.” Thinking quickly, Fib left the bedroom while Flare was calling his boss. He hopped into the kitchen, listening in as Flare began to talk.
“Hi…” He made his voice hoarse, then gulped down some water loud enough to be heard over the phone. “S-Sorry, sir. I can’t be at work tomorrow. I’ve–” He coughed a few times, then gulped down another shot of water. “I’ve caught a cold. I should be good to work by Monday, but I can’t come in tomorrow.”
Fib smirked as his body bwoomphed bigger, making audible stretching sounds. His body swelled and stretched, until he was the size of a beach ball. “Perfect,” he said in a deeper voice, now a strong tenor tone.
“-Yessir. I’ll take the weekend and heal up… Alright… Goodbye, sir.” Flare hung up the phone, and waited for Fib to return. Upon hearing his alien friend hop back into the room, he started to talk. “It worked, Fib! You were right! Now I’ve got tomorrow off so weeeaaaaaahhhh!”
He yelped in total shock as he finally saw Fib’s larger form. “Y-You… You grew! You’re a lot bigger now! What happened?”
Fib’s smile faded a little, as he realized he now had to fake an explanation for his new size. “W-Well, ah… I should’ve told you earlier, but… my body matures after some time, giving me some growth spurts at random times.” He chuckled a little. “But don’t worry! I’m still your little Fib!”
“Little… Yeah…” Flare had calmed down. “I wouldn’t say you’re ‘little’ anymore. Just not as big as me.”
“But that’s not important,” Fib said quickly, changing the subject. “That was great! Now you’ve got all of tomorrow to spend with me! You can show me around this city!”
“You’re right… I’ve got an extra long weekend now!” The gray wolf grinned. “Thanks for the idea, Fib! I’ll have to be a bit more creative in hiding you, but I’ll make it work!” He giggled and patted Fib on the top of his head. “We’re gonna have so much fun tomorrow!”
'Yes… We will have plenty of fun tomorrow.' Fib smirked as they resumed the movie. 'How big will you make me tomorrow, little Flare?'

-------------------------------------------------

Fib awoke to Flare’s hand on his head, claw tips slowly grazing his antennae. He shivered, not used to such a feeling. It felt… good. Not a pleasurable good, but rather a sense of happiness he’d never felt before. He felt… happy? He was supposed to be a monster, using others to make himself gigantic, then terrorizing entire planets! Not some huggable, cute thing!
But… He didn’t want to admit to it… Fib was starting to warm up to the wolf. The guy had taken him in, a stranger to this planet, and been happy to be around him. He wanted to stay by his side, wanting not only to keep him safe… but to be his friend. 'What is going on with me? I’m having second thoughts that go against my entire purpose…
Flare woke up an hour later, yawning widely. “Mmm, what a dream…” He saw he’d held Fib close like a large stuffed animal and blushed. He had never been so close to anyone before. Even when staying with friends, he’d always had a bed to himself. And feeling another being pressed against him…
Thoughts he never imagined having entered Flare’s mind. Rubbing his hand against Fib’s head and antennae, he smiled to himself as he thought about all the fun they were going to have…
“Ah hem…” Fib cleared his throat. “I… I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t do that… I, ah, I’m not used to being so close to anyone.”
“O-Oh. Right.” Flare blushed more and withdrew his hand, shifting himself so the two weren’t touching. “Sorry. I don’t know what came over me…” He couldn’t make eye contact as he got up and stretched. “S-So… Are you ready to see the world today?”
“Hm? Oh, yeah!” Fib nodded. “How are you going to hide me, though?”
Flare sat at his table and began chowing down on a granola bar. “Hmmm… Maybe you won’t have to hide at all.” Upon seeing Fib’s curious look, he explained “I know a few back alleys nobody goes down anymore. We’ll still be able to see the city, and you won’t have to be hidden.”
Fib nodded again. He would’ve preferred a chance at interaction with other beings, but he felt like this was the right thing to do. “Sounds like a plan!”
A few minutes later, the two left their home, Fib hopping along next to Flare. He didn’t even act nervous, as he really wasn’t being looked for, and he could make up something about trusting the wolf if asked. Together, the two strolled around the town, with Flare narrating the experience like a guide. Things went smoothly for a few hours, until a voice called out to them.
“Hey Flare!” The pair turned to see an orange dragon running towards them. He must not have noticed Fib yet, but it would only be a few moments.
“Uh oh…” Flare muttered, but Fib was already on it. He rolled into a nearby alley, and hid behind a trash can. “Fib? Where di–”
Fib cut him off. “I’m hidden! Don’t worry!” He hoped the glee wasn’t too audible to the wolf. Finally, another chance to grow! He watched from the alley as Flare met the stranger.
“Hey, Sai!” Flare grinned as he bumped chests with his scaly friend. “What’s up? It’s been a while since I saw you.”
“What’s up with me? What about you, buddy?” Sai smiled as he looked down at his smaller friend. “I thought your shift is right now. Any reason why you’re out here all by your lonesome?”
Fib smirked as he saw Flare quickly glance at his alley, before speaking. “Ah, well… I got today off. I worked hard enough to earn a few days off, and I wanted a longer weekend. Besides, it’s a great day for a walk! It’s a beautiful day.” He breathed in deeply, ending with a sigh.
With another audible growth spurt, Fib had to duck further back into the alley as he felt his body doing more than growing into a larger sphere. His body formed two distinct lumps, the bottom one much larger than the top segment. His head stayed on the top segment, eyes, nose, mouth, and antennae growing proportionally to the rest of him. But there was more. Two thin lumps formed under the second segment, lengthening and swelling at the ends, until two thick legs took shape, leaving the alien standing upright on two long, flat feet. His growth spurt ended soon after, leaving the now bipedal Fib standing at 4 feet tall.
His growth spurt was so fantastic, Fib almost missed the end of the conversation. “Indeed it is, my fiery Flare! Unfortunately, I’ve gotta run. I’m almost late for a meeting with my boss, hehe. Take care!” With a high-five, and a quick hug, the dragon jogged away.
To Flare, this would make sense. But Fib’s grin grew wider as he began to grow again. 'Well well well, it seems Flare isn’t the only one who can help.' His legs lengthened, feet swelling over the pavement, bumping into the garbage bin he’d hid behind just minutes before. The very same garbage bin sank lower and lower as his body stretched and swelled, sending the thing toppling over with the growth of Fib’s large, round belly!
Hearing the bin crash to the ground made Flare rush over. “Fib? Did you fa–” The rest of his words left him, as the wolf gawked up… and up! The little blue alien, once only a foot tall, now towered over the wolf. His belly was level with Flare’s face! Staring up and down, Flare noticed every change to Fib’s body: the feet, legs, and belly, the second segment that gave the lie a body underneath his head… For minutes, all Flare could do was ogle Fib’s new body, thoughts racing through his mind so quickly he thought his brain had gone blank.
“Feline got your tongue?” On top of growing to 10 feet tall, Fib’s personality had ‘changed.’ Rather, now that he outsized his Fibber, he let his real personality finally shine through. “Come on, you were marvelous! I’m telling ya kid, you’re a natural at storytelling!”
“F-F-Fiiiibbbb??” Flare’s voice squeaked, sounding even higher pitched than Fib’s was when he landed on the planet! “I-I… You…. You’re…. H-H-Huge!!”
Fib laughed, his belly jiggling with each “Ha.” Flare blushed as one such action bounced Fib’s belly against his chest. “Ohh, you betcha! What a rush that was! I feel SOOO much stronger now!”
“But… You did more than just grow like, 6 feet taller!” Flare yelped. “You grew an entire belly! And you have FEET! And LEGS! What is going on?”
“I told ya! My kind matures a whole lot quicker than you think.” Fib leaned down, giving Flare a teasing smirk as he backed the wolf up, pinning him between the wall of a building, and a wall of fat Fib belly. “But don’t worry, ‘little’ Flare. I will always be your little Fib!”
Flare blushed profusely, reduced to stuttering and stammering. Fib was so small when they first met. But after less than a week, Flare was less than half his height! And Fib’s charm became even more powerful, with a deep voice that Flare swore pounded in his chest. That face he made… It was more than a tease. It was a knowing tease, almost like Fib knew just how much Flare was loving this new size of his.
Fib chuckled and backed off, giving his little Fibber a view of his whole body. He lifted one foot and wiggled it, adjusting to walking rather quickly. He brought it down, grinning at the THUMP it made against the ground. “I could get used to this.”
“I… Um…” Flare fought for clarity, finally taking a deep breath and calming down enough to string a sentence together. “L-Let’s just go back home, okay? Before you get too big to fit anywhere.”
“Sounds like a wonderful plan, Flare!” The large alien had to adjust his walk to make sure Flare could keep up, taking 1 step for every 4 steps the wolf took. Something Flare noted in silence, sorting through his thoughts. 'He’s so big now… Big enough to– What am I thinking?! There’s no way he’d like that! Besides, he’s gotta stay hidden!'
Flare glanced over at the alien out of the corners of his eyes. Fib didn’t seem to be nervous, even though they weren’t the only ones on this street. A few cars pulled out of driveways, a few joggers on the other side of the street glanced at the large alien, but through it all Fib maintained his grin, and seemed to even put a little swagger into his steps, his walk becoming more of a show-off strut. He was extremely exposed to anyone looking for him, but he didn’t seem to care in the slightest. 'Could he have lied to me? Hmm…. He’s definitely not sharing something… I should ask him about it…'
And find out how much bigger he’ll get.
Flare stood completely straight, stopping in his tracks. Where did that thought come from? Sure, he had an obsession with giants, but they were all fictional! He didn’t ACTUALLY think being around a giant would be like his fantasies…. Right?
“Something the matter?” Fib had to set his foot thumping down, before bowling into his smaller Fibber.
“Inside. Come on.” Flare ignored the question and sprinted into his house, hoping the alien hadn’t been too attentive. Otherwise he would have seen something a little private…
Smirking to himself, Fib followed Flare to the house. Getting inside was another thing. First he had to duck to even get into the house. But then, his belly became wedged in the doorframe. He was stuck! “G-Gah… Flare? Can you give me a push?”
With a face redder than a tomato, Flare went through the side door and back outside, where he faced Fib’s backside. In addition to a body, Fib had also gained a butt, his cheeks wobbling as they were stuck outside. Refusing to say anything, Flare averted his eyes as best as he could from the huge buttcheeks, then pushed and shoved on Fib’s body until, inch by inch, he fell to the floor, fully inside. Doing his best to hide how much he loved Fib’s new body, the wolf shut the door, then stumbled into the bathroom to cool off… And get a grip.
Fib managed to seat himself on the couch in the living room, happily noting it creaked and sagged slightly under his new weight. From his vantage point he could see his belly, as big around as his body had been just that morning! And his feet… He lifted one up, inspecting the curve, and the flat bottom. Perfect for stomping things under him. He shifted around, his butt too large to completely fit on the couch, so he sat himself on the floor with his back against the couch.
When Flare returned, he stood before the alien and crossed his arms. “Explain everything. You’re not telling me something, or possibly nothing about yourself.”
If he had been small, Fib would’ve been worried. But being over twice as tall as the wolf, and also knowing Flare was enamored with both his size and giants in general, Fib chose to tease him some more. “What are you talking about? I told you, my body matures rather quickly.”
“No more fibs, Fib!” Flare almost stomped his foot. “I’ve kept you ‘safe’ from those looking for you, only to find out nobody else even knew you existed until you showed yourself off to everyone staring at you! I deserve to know the truth about you!”
Fib took a few moments to consider how much to tell his Fibber. Deciding to share everything with him, he let out a low chuckle. “The truth… Ironic. Well, Flare, take a seat.” After the wolf sat in a chair facing him, Fib began. “My name is Fibrilius Minimus. I am a fib, a race who grows from lies. My goal is to grow as big as your lies can make me, and either rule over or outgrow this entire planet. And once I grow big enough, I will start by crushing this city to rubble under my feet.” He smirked and wiggled his feet, watching Flare closely for his reaction.
Flare was dumbfounded. Fib… grew from LIES? Which meant he was responsible for the alien’s change in size. The 10 foot creature splayed before him was only 10 feet tall because of him. It couldn’t be true… “N-No…. You’ve got to be messing with me…”
“Don’t believe me?” Fib lowered his eyelids, then dropped his voice to a low, playful thrum “Then why don’t you lie again, and find out?”
Flare’s face reddened once again, momentarily tongue-tied. Hesitantly, he said, “I-I don’t like how you’re bigger than me now, Fib. I wish you had stayed smaller.”
Fib hummed as his body began to bulge and swell before Flare’s eyes. Bigger and bigger, larger and larger, the alien expanded to fill more of the living room. He lifted his feet, both of them growing outwards and pushing against Flare’s chest, shoving him and his chair back as they grew even bigger. A deep, low moan of pleasure erupted from Fib’s vocal chords as he grew. 11 feet… 12 feet… 13…
He wasn’t just growing bigger. Two shapes formed under his shoulders, molding into long, thick arms, ending in three-fingered hands. Finishing off the growth spurt with a sigh, Fib looked over at Flare, pinned under his soles 16 feet away from the alien’s eyes.
Flare’s own moan of pleasure watching Fib grow went unnoticed. He was squished against Fib’s feet as they grew on top of him, pushing him and his chair backwards. He reached out and started rubbing those big, flat stompers, his hardening length nudging against Fib’s right heel. “F-Fiiiibbb” he moaned, before getting a face full of feet, rubbing against them while moaning. He didn’t know how long Fib’s growth lasted, but some time later, eventually, the feet as long as he was tall shifted off of him.
He panted heavily, staring out at Fib’s more than impressive body. “O-Oh, god… Fib…”
“Why don’t you come a little closer?” Reaching out with both hands, Fib grabbed the standing wolf and pulled him down on top of himself. Flare yipped as he was pressed against Fib’s thick chest. Looking down at his Fibber’s face, he was satisfied to see his pleasure mirrored onto Flare’s face. “There… That’s the spot…” He started rubbing his fingers up and down Flare’s back, smirking as the wolf purred and wagged his tail. “Even a little lie can grow really big, REAL fast,” he hummed, seeing Flare nod along to his words. “And now, little Flare… Now you belong to ME.”
Flare shivered as every word pounded in his chest. He laid his head down on Fib’s chest. “Yes, Fib… I’m yours now. Take me as your little friend.”
Fib laughed and began running his fingers all along Flare’s fur. “Oh, little one… You’re more than my friend. You’re my Fibber. You’ll make me grow forever and ever.”
“Yes…” Flare crawled up Fib’s chest and gave him a peck on the cheek. “I love you, Fibrilius Minimus.”
Fib was almost taken aback at this. Love wasn’t something his kind practiced that much. Fibs were more focused on growing, destroying, and ruling over planets. But Fibrilius had been feeling something different towards Flare. As he learned more of this planet from the wolf, he had finally been able to place that unknown feeling.
“I love you as well, Flare Wolf.” The words felt alien to the alien, but he also felt… Right, saying it.
The two of them lay there, sprawled in the living room, until Flare felt his eyes begin to close. “Gotta get in bed…” Flare yawned.
“Relax.” Fib stroked Flare’s back. “I am your bed now. Just lay here and sleep.”
“Sleep…” Flare was very quick to pass out, going limp against his alien’s mass. Fib chuckled and continued to pet the wolf, beginning to drift off to sleep himself. He’s gotten this big… How big can he get?
